About us
ANGIOLOGICA has been present on the national and international market since 1986. The company, founded with the aim of meeting the modern needs of both operators and users in the vascular sector, has now evolved and expanded, thanks to the experience gained over the years, towards other surgical specializations (in particular general and proctological surgery).
Having an R&D department, the company always pays close attention to market trends, scientific discoveries, and innovations and to the needs and safety of the patients and users, maintaining continuous contacts with the most important universities and research institutes.
For ANGIOLOGICA it is essential to provide its customers with products and services that comply with the agreed requirements, in compliance with national and international mandatory standards and the regulations concerning CE marking.
The Company has long been implementing an effective Quality Management System, certified according to ISO 13485, adequately integrated into the Company Management System, including the Environmental Management System and the Health and Safety at Work Management System.
Markets
ANGIOLOGICA distributes its products to Italian public and private hospitals through a sales network consisting of direct agents and local distributors. Internationally, ANGIOLOGICA operates thanks to the network of local distributors currently present in Europe, Africa and Asia.
Research and Development
Thanks to the extensive experience of internal collaborators and selected opinion leaders, and the strength of its collaborations with expert in the fields, universities and research centers both in Italy and Europe, ANGIOLOGICA Research and Development department guarantees a constant implementation of products made in ANGIOLOGICA to meet the market needs and to improve patient condition.
The commitment of R&D staff in recent years has led to the development of the technology necessary to create the new composite mesh Combi Mesh Plus®, a polypropylene mesh to which polyurethane is uniformly amalgamated, forming a single-sided micro layer with anti-adhesion properties.
Collaborations with internationally recognized researchers have led ANGIOLOGICA to participate in various research and development projects, both self-funded and managed by the European Community or the Ministry of Education of the University and Research.
The most important projects have been carried out in the vascular field, for the creation of innovative small-caliber vascular prostheses,biomaterials, development of biocompatible materials for prosthesis composition, drugs, study, production and testing of drugs for tissue regeneration in diabetic patients suffering from skin ulcerative lesions, as well as in the field of stem cells to study their use in both tissue regrowth and cardiac fields.
The Research and Development staff of ANGIOLOGICA is available to analyze innovative proposals, to evaluate their actual feasibility (through feasibility studies) and potential (through targeted market research ), and then to develop devices or equipment for medical use together with the creator.
The experience gained over the years allows ANGIOLOGICA to manufacture standard OEM products and to follow the development of a new product from the initial idea to market launch, supporting the customer both in the development of a production process in accordance with ISO 13485 standards and in the process for obtaining the CE marking.
Certifications
ANGIOLOGICA has a UNI CEI EN ISO 13485:2021 certified quality system for the design, production, and sale of surgical medical devices.
ANGIOLOGICA medical devices are CE marked, and regularly registered in the database of the Italian Ministry of Health.
